Dear Yuletide Writer,

 

Clearly, you are an excellent human being with tremendous taste and I will end up enjoying whatever you write in these universes. One of these requests is a long standing one of mine, but that’s because I still love the world and characters. Consider all of the optional details optional.

 

That said, in general, I enjoy stories with a lot of adventures, shenanigans, misunderstandings, found families, people awkwardly trying to express their feelings, and action/plotty hurt/comfort (where the hurt is plot-based and the comfort part is physical, like tending to wounds and clinging until the adrenaline wears off), because most of all I love competence and characters having to work through some crap to get shit done. Happy endings are also a plus. As you’ll see further down in the letter, I’m also down with m/f, m/m, f/f, threesomes, moresomes and gen. Any rating is fine and I do enjoy many a PWP if the basic setup of the relationship is there.

 

I’m not fond of rape or death fic, character-bashing, high school/teacher/student scenarios, a/b/o, or strong BDSM (mild powerplay stuff in sexy situations is fine).

 

365 Fresh - Triple H (Music Video)

 

With this fandom, I’m definitely interested in the missing scenes from the music video and what might have happened if they survived after the jump at the end. I’m less interested in backstory for the characters as the main focus, but it’s obviously fine as part of a larger story. I do prefer a threesome as the relationship focus, but I’m very into all the other dynamics that exist between these three characters. Any way you choose to interpret that poly relationship would be excellent. Why do Hyuna and Hui choose to take E’Dawn with them in the car after the accident? How do all three of them end up sharing that bed? How else to they spend all of their money? A story about them building on their interconnected relationship(s) would be fantastic.

So listen, watch the

365 Fresh video (tw: blood, suicidal ideation) and try not to ship a fucked up threesome by the end of it. Give me all of your We’re On the Run from the Cops and Two of Us are Boning and the Third is Sad and Our Future Looks Bleak But Maybe Everything Would Be Better if We Just Boned Together stories. That’s my jam. The fic doesn’t even really need to be explicit to make me happy, as long as it’s about them building towards that relationship. Also, this is a fandom where I’m flexible on the definition of a “happy ending.” It can be a relative form of happy.

I did receive an incredible gift fic from missp last year for the RPF side of this fandom,

like gold, but I feel like I need to request this fandom again as a strong fuck you to everything That Square Company has put them through. Damn the man, ship Triple H.

 

Old Kingdom - Garth Nix -- Sabriel

 

I’m desperate for more stories that take place during the restoration of the Kingdom, between the first two books. I just want to read all about Sabriel clearing out parts of Belisaere, training charter mage recruits, or rebuilding Charter Stones. Give me all of the adventures where she has to be smart and strong and even a little lucky to work her way towards a new Old Kingdom. I also love how she began to collect people around her, so I’m very open to having other characters (nommed & not) appearing in major roles. This includes her children as well.

 

What I’m crazy into here is the world of the books and the rebuilding of the Kingdom. If instead, you wanted to set the story after the end of the books so that you can include the whole royal family and Lirael as well, I would also definitely be into that. I just want more of these small adventures and trials that expand on the world of the books and get into the nitty gritty of running the Kingdom and how Sabriel handles growing into her titles and her relationships with the people close to her.

There is just so much implied in the music video that I have to know more. Tell me their tragic love story. How did Hyungwon and Minhyuk meet? Was it through the other guys, how long have they known each other? Was the world they live in always that terrible? What was it like the first time they tried the flowers? What’s the timeline, do they make it out of the bathtub? What’s that purple blob in the sky? Include as much of the other characters as you want, just tell me more about this world through Hyungwon and Minhyuk’s perspectives.

 

There are so many hints of a bigger world that I would love to see explored. Society is clearly in a bad way, what’s life like on a daily basis? How does religion factor into things, considering Hyungwon’s dad? What do the guys do for fun when they aren't resisting an oppressive military presence? Missing scenes, stories set before the mv and set in the future are all great. I'm down for whatever kind of exploring you want to do.

Dramarama - Monsta X (Music Video

I have to know more about this universe and the timelines in this music video. I’m fine with all of the characters, but I desperately need to know more about these two time-traveling kendo-practicing boyfriends. How did Wonho end up with the watch? Why did he go back to see Shownu specifically? How often did he do it? What did Shownu think the first time he saw Wonho time travel? How many times did they shower together after sparring in kendo? I need answers! Again, I'm fine with including the other storylines/timelines, but this is the one that needs a story.

 

Monsta X’s commitment to ridiculous music videos is my favorite thing in kpop, maybe. While most of my prompts revolve around Wonho and Shownu together in Shownu’s time, I’d be very happy knowing more about Wonho in his future time and his run-in with the time cops. Did he steal the watch? Does he get it from Hyungwon or does he end up giving it to Hyungwon? Go as deep as you want with messy timeline plots. Or you could just focus on the very tender and sensual rituals Wonho and Shownu go through to get ready to spar. Both are excellent.
